Sarah Rosenblum (’98) is a Filipina American ceramicist and sculptor based in LA born in Philadelphia. She takes notes from dressmaking and abstract painting, practices learned from her grandmothers. Her work references ancestry and traditions transformed into cerebral vessels utilizing textures and surrealist imagery. She is inspired by the mortality of natural cycles and evolving ecosystems and biodiversity. A Northwestern journalism graduate in 2021, she uses ceramics as a tactile form of language. She has collaborated with designers and architects, and her work has shown in galleries in LA and NY.
